Meet our Junior Accountant, Elisabeth.

Elisabeth came straight from college to begin her career at West Park in April 2009, as our Receptionist. In June of this year, Elisabeth received a promotion and began taking on more accounting responsibilities. She's one of those people that wears many different hats and wears each one well! Elisabeth knows the ins and outs of anything related to our new and used vehicle inventory. Her favourite GM is the Camaro in yellow, but her practical choice is a Chevy Malibu. “I like them because they are practical but still fast and fun!” Elisabeth remarked.

We've Been "Cruzen the Valley"!

To celebrate the all new 2011 Chevy Cruze we've been Cruzen the Valley. Staff from West Park along with Al Friesen, Co-host of CFAM's Morning Show, took an entourage of 2011 vehicles, including the new Chevy Cruze to neighbouring communities.  People were invited to join us for free coffee and muffins, door prizes and a chance to test drive our 2011 products during each of our Cruzen the Valley events.  Amidst the action, Al reported live, on sight.  We enjoyed having coffee and muffins together with you and bringing our 2011 products to your communities. Thank you to those who joined us and a special thank you to Al Friesen for Cruzen in the Cruze to report at our events.

Meet Mark - MTS Connect Sales Representative

Mark is our MTS Connect Store sales representative. He enjoys interacting with people, is motivated by a variety of tasks when working and loves technology and gadgets, etc. That means he's a perfect fit for this position because there are lots of gadgets to play with. A favourite of his is the new Smart phone – the HTC Android. Mark says, “This phone does EVERYTHING! It has cool apps and LOTS of them. It's FUN!” Mark joined our team in July and commented, “One of the highlights of my job so far, is getting people the product that suits their needs and then seeing them satisfied. I like to focus on customer service rather than push and sell.” And, even though Mark doesn't work directly with vehicles, since he is an employee of West Park's, we had to ask him the question, “What is your favourite GM vehicle?” His favourite is the Cadillac CTS and the Denali because they are sophisticated and classy.

Meet Roxanne - MTS Connect Store Manager

Roxanne joined our team as the MTS Connect Store Manager in mid August of this year. She has had many years of management and customer service experience at Burke's in Morris, which was owned by her family. Roxanne said it was time to try something different and give herself a new challenge. She commented, “I think my 'deer in headlights' look has finally gone away as I've become more familiar with everything that MTS Connect has to offer! I enjoy interacting with the many people that come into our store and the variety of tasks in my job.” Although she doesn't consider herself a die-hard techy, she said, “I love my Blackberry Storm. I could never go back to a regular cel phone. If I can figure it out, anyone can. It's really easy to use.” Other than the popular data devices, such as the HTS Android and Blackberries, Roxanne was impressed with the Military Grade phones. “Those phones are tough. You can do almost anything to them and they will keep going. It's a great phone for construction workers or anybody else who might put their phone through a lot of abuse.” Come and meet Roxanne at our MTS Connect store.
