A piece of Jerry Bruckheimer comes to West Park. It turns out that the black 2010 Chev Corvette Convertible that we purchased from General Motors back in spring actually was the personal car of famous Hollywood producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, for use when he was at his home in Kentucky. As I was sorting through the glove box material in preparation for delivery I came across an insurance card showing ...that while it was always owned by General Motors, it was insured by Jerry Bruckheimer Inc. My first thought was that it might have been used in a movie or TV show. I called the dealer in Kentucky that delivered it to get the scoop. He informed me that every year GM provides Jerry with a Corvette to use as a thank you for all of the GM vehicles that he showcases in his TV shows and movies. In the fall of 2009 our black Corvette was delivered to Jerry. The twists and turns in the car business will never cease to amaze me. - Jer
