West Park Motors first time Ladies Car Care Clinic

This past Tuesday evening West Park hosted our first ever Ladies Car Care Clinic. Dubbed “Heels and Wheels” this event was a trial run for staff members, spouses and a few of their friends. The main goal of the evening was to have fun so we supplied drinks, hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and gift bags. A secondary goal was to provide attendees with some basic car care information which was shared by presenters Bob Stoesz, Terry Toews, Lyn Dyck and Vic Loewen – thanks guys for doing an awesome job. Topics included everything from where is my spare tire and what does this warning light mean to how do I buy a car. A great big thanks to Jodi Bennett and Michelle Wiebe for organizing the evening. Special thanks to Nicola Loewen at Mad About Style Boutique on Academy Road in Winnipeg (www.madaboutstyle.ca) for providing the gift bags and to Sun Valley Co-op in Altona for the floral arrangements. Heels and Wheels is an event we would like to run a few times annually providing there is interest. Would you consider being part of an evening like that this fall?
