GMC Terrain undergoes facelift for 2016
GMC,
riding a hot streak in sales of utility vehicles, introduced a face-lifted
version of the midsize Terrain today ahead of its debut at this week’s New York
auto show. The vehicle gets new front and rear fascias, more safety equipment
and other tweaks.
Among
the cosmetic updates: a new “power dome” hood, LED daytime running lights on
non-base model Terrains, new wheels and a revised instrument panel that
features a new storage shelf.
New
safety features available on SLE and SLT models include side blind zone alert
and rear cross traffic alert. The
2016 Terrain’s powertrains are unchanged; the vehicle goes on sale this fall.
