GM to develop connected technologies in Canada
General Motors will put $190 million per year to develop connected and green technologies at its Engineering Centre based in Oshawa, Ontario. "We are making this investment because we see an opportunity to take advantage of a wealth of talent in mobile technologies, software and advanced automotive engineering," said Steve Carlisle, GM Canada's president and managing director. This initiative should create 100 jobs.
