GM to develop
connected technologies in Canada

Motors will put $190 million per year to develop connected and green
technologies at its Engineering Centre based in Oshawa, Ontario. "We are
making this investment because we see an opportunity to take advantage of a
wealth of talent in mobile technologies, software and advanced automotive
engineering," said Steve Carlisle, GM Canada's president and managing
director. This initiative should create 100 jobs.
